While accelerating the advancement of technologies currently dominating the market, such as LNG propulsion and methanol propulsion, we will also focus our capabilities on securing and commercializing next-generation, eco-friendly ship source technologies that utilize ammonia, electricity, hydrogen, and other sources.

Second, we will lead the digital transformation to create unprecedented innovation.
Transforming the shipbuilding industry into a cutting-edge,
technology-intensive industry by incorporating ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is a key way to expand the technological gap with competitors. We will strive to advance related technologies to achieve higher levels of autonomous navigation capabilities and to establish “standards” in the autonomous navigation field through active cooperation with relevant institutions, such as ship classification societies.
Additionally, we will accelerate the elimination of inefficiencies throughout the entire process from ship design to construction by linking big data platforms and ICT to production processes, and establishing safe workplaces and smart yards.

Third, we will create a transparent and fair business environment by making voluntary compliance with fair trade a core principle of corporate management. We will strengthen win-win relationships with partner companies and create a trusted corporate culture by thoroughly adhering to laws and ethics throughout the entire transaction process. Through this, we will contribute to establishing a fair competition order and achieving sustainable growth.

Lastly, individual creativity will be a key element that determines the future of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering.
We will secure new talent in various fields while focusing on capability development to fully unleash individual creativity. At the Global R&D Center (GRC), where the group's R&D capabilities are consolidated, we will explore new synergies that have not existed before and bring them to reality.
